Iraq Chairs International Dialogue in The Hague on Judicial Cooperation in Counter-Terrorism

The National Center for International Judicial Cooperation, affiliated with the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, chaired the practical dialogue sessions on international judicial cooperation and evidence sharing in counter-terrorism cases, held in The Hague, Netherlands. The dialogue, organized in collaboration with the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ) and supported by British diplomatic entities, witnessed broad international participation from elite criminal justice experts and representatives of global security and judicial agencies such as INTERPOL and Europol. Discussions focused on reviewing cooperation frameworks and exchanging expertise regarding digital and technological evidence, as well as handling witness testimonies in cases related to terrorism and transnational organized crime, aiming to strengthen accountability mechanisms and achieve justice on both national and international scales.
