Iranian Parliament: Regional Security is the Responsibility of its States, Reaffirming Readiness for Joint Cooperation

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf asserted that ensuring the security and stability of the Middle East is primarily the responsibility of its states, emphasizing Tehran's full readiness to enhance frameworks of joint cooperation with neighboring countries. In a press statement, he clarified that Iranian policy is based on the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of others and mutual respect for state sovereignty. He also noted that achieving a ceasefire and ending military operations in Lebanon is of paramount importance to Iran, on par with the importance of ending the state of war imposed on it.
