The Commission explained in an official statement that its field teams conducted comprehensive auditing operations resulting in the seizure of hundreds of medical records violating regulations. It was revealed that there was deliberate manipulation of receipts, issuing them under fake names to illegally acquire the collected fees.
The statement added that competent judicial authorities issued arrest and search warrants for the suspects, which were properly executed. Their statements were recorded and presented to the investigative judge, who ordered their detention pending the case, in continuation of strict legal measures aimed at purging state institutions of corruption hubs.
