The Naval Intelligence Directorate announced the foiling of an infiltration attempt and the arrest of 23 foreign nationals who tried to enter Iraqi territory illegally via territorial waters. The Directorate confirmed that the operation was based on precise intelligence that
led to a well-planned ambush using speedboats. The apprehended individuals have been handed over to the relevant authorities to take necessary legal actions in accordance with applicable laws.
