Health authorities in Najaf Governorate have announced the implementation of a comprehensive medical plan involving thousands of staff and specialized personnel to ensure healthcare provision during the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's demise. Preparations included the deployment of an extensive
network of ambulances and both stationary and mobile medical detachments, in collaboration with various supporting entities and volunteers. The strategy was divided into major operational axes, encompassing the full mobilization of hospitals, intensified health inspections of food supplies, and the
distribution of thousands of awareness brochures offering medical guidelines to prevent health issues, particularly those related to high temperatures and crowding.
