Security forces in the Kurdistan Region announced the arrest of a three-member gang specializing in the distribution and exchange of counterfeit currency, following a precise security operation. Authorities reported that the suspects opened fire on security personnel during the arrest
attempt, resulting in injuries to several officers. The gang utilized social media platforms to lure victims under the pretense of selling currency, subsequently robbing them at gunpoint. The suspects have been detained under applicable legal articles, while investigations continue to
