Military Intelligence Bans Personnel from Media Appearances, Directs Activation of Official Complaint Channels

The Military Intelligence Directorate issued strict directives on Friday prohibiting all its personnel from appearing in the media, warning that such practices damage the reputation of the military institution. In an official statement, the Director of Military Intelligence, Lieutenant General Hassan Al-Silawi, explained that high-level instructions from the Army Chief of Staff mandate that any complaints or demands be submitted through the official hierarchical chain of command. He pointed out that regular interviews with commanders and officers have been scheduled to listen to the personnel and address their grievances in accordance with established legal procedures.
