Completion of Vital Bridge Projects in Baghdad Delayed Due to Financial Challenges

The Ministry's spokesperson clarified that the remaining projects, including the second Sarafiya Bridge, Gaza Bridge, the second Jadriya Bridge, and the connection of the Suspension Bridge to the Two-Story Bridge, are witnessing tangible advancement in fieldwork. It was noted that the original plan aimed to complete these projects early this year; however, delays were caused by economic challenges, the delayed approval of the federal budget, and insufficient cash liquidity to settle financial dues for previously completed works.
