Border Ports Authority Initiates Operational Plan for Arbaeen Pilgrimage via Al-Munthiriya Crossing

The Border Ports Authority has commenced the implementation of its comprehensive security and logistics plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The Authority announced that a high-level government delegation, led by the President of the Border Ports Authority, conducted a field inspection in Diyala Governorate alongside the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations and the Chairman of the Service Committee. The visit aimed to evaluate the readiness of the Al-Munthiriya border crossing to receive pilgrims. During the visit, a coordination meeting was held at the Diyala Operations Command to align security and service efforts for a smooth influx of visitors. Furthermore, a joint meeting with bilateral officials took place to discuss streamlining border-crossing procedures and supporting services, ensuring the pilgrimage is managed with the highest efficiency and organization in line with government directives.
