The 76th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) has officially kicked off amidst massive cinematic and public attendance, featuring this year a special retrospective program titled "Lost in the 90s." This specialized cinematic program aims to screen and
revive the most prominent classic films that contributed to shaping the cultural and aesthetic consciousness of that pivotal era. Through seminars and screenings of restored films, the program also highlights the profound social and political transformations of the post-Cold War
period, which were clearly and directly reflected in the visual discourse, cinematic narrative, and the evolution of the industry across the European continent and the world at large.
