The Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Investigation Court issued an arrest warrant for former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Jassim Saber Al-Asadi, following a complaint filed with the Federal Integrity Commission regarding allegations of illicit enrichment. The warrant was enacted
pursuant to Article (19/Second) of the amended Federal Integrity and Illicit Enrichment Law, which addresses cases involving an inability to prove the legitimate source of accumulated assets. Judicial instructions were issued to authorized law enforcement personnel to apprehend the former
official and present him before the court for legal proceedings.
