of Ali Al-Zaidi's government. Coordination Framework member Abdul Samad Al-Zarkoushi explained in press statements that indicators point towards resolving contentious points and reaching a comprehensive consensus among political factions, suggesting that the parliamentary session could be held by late next
week if talks are successful. Al-Zarkoushi emphasized the urgent need to complete the cabinet lineup, particularly the security ministries, to ensure effective management of the country's sensitive portfolios. It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives granted a vote of
confidence to the Prime Minister and fourteen ministers in mid-May, while the vote on nine key ministries, most notably Defense, Interior, and Planning, was postponed pending final political agreements.
