The outgoing Prime Minister issued a congratulatory statement on the occasion of Ali Al-Zaidi being tasked with forming the next government, wishing him success in his national mission.
He stated in an official statement: "We extend our congratulations and best wishes to Ali Faleh Kazem Al-Zaidi, on the occasion of his nomination by the Coordination Framework forces, which represent the largest parliamentary bloc, and the issuance of the
appointment decree by the President of the Republic to form the next government."
He added: "We affirm our keenness to support all choices that are achieved through national consensus, which were the fruit of the wide and effective participation of our people in the previous legislative elections," emphasizing "our readiness for full cooperation
