rafidainscope - The First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi, discussed on Sunday with several relevant parties the amendment to the Yazidi Survivors and Other Components Law, in preparation for its approval and submission to a vote in upcoming sessions.
Al-Dulaimi's media office said in a statement that the First Deputy held an expanded meeting attended by MP Mukhtar Al-Mousawi and representatives of the Diwani Order Committee for the Abductees, the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism
and Antiquities, stressing the importance of parliamentary-governmental coordination to accelerate discussions on the legal amendment.
The statement added that Al-Dulaimi emphasized the need to unify and verify data, in order to address files related to the amendment and ensure the inclusion of all eligible victims in accordance with the applicable legal frameworks.
