of International Law Day, the Council noted that the rule of law is the foundation for achieving justice and equality among all members of society. It added that the Iraqi judiciary renews its commitment to carrying out its constitutional mission of
upholding the law, safeguarding rights and freedoms, and entrenching the principles of justice, thereby strengthening citizens' trust in state institutions and enshrining the principle that all are subject to the law without discrimination.
