Specialized security committees in Nineveh Governorate have revealed the final investigation results regarding the recent wave of fires that swept through vast agricultural lands. Investigations confirmed that the incidents primarily resulted from farmers burning agricultural residue to clear the land,
before the fires spiraled out of control due to strong winds. Security authorities categorically denied the existence of any terrorist or sabotaging motives behind the incidents, confirming that necessary measures and directives prohibiting such practices have been implemented to protect
property, alongside the mobilization of civil defense teams to ensure total control over the situation.
