An investigative report revealed the execution of aerial military operations described as "secret" within Iraqi airspace during the recent war period, targeting sites belonging to armed factions linked to Iran. According to the report, Saudi aircraft carried out undeclared strikes inside Iraqi airspace against sites belonging to "powerful Iraqi factions," as part of an undeclared regional deterrence policy. Kuwait also participated in similar operations through its air force, within Gulf movements aimed at responding to fire sources that launched from Iraqi territory and targeted Gulf states. The report noted that these operations came within a "broad and hidden policy" adopted by some regional countries to deal with cross-border security threats, amid growing demands to clarify facts related to national sovereignty and security.
