Prime Minister Reaffirms Government Commitment to Providing Comprehensive Support to Holy Shrines

Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi affirmed the government's progression in providing necessary support to the holy shrines in the country. A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office indicated that Al-Zaidi received a delegation representing the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, where both sides reviewed procedures and preparations related to organizing religious pilgrimages, in addition to following up on the operational mechanisms of the Supreme Committee for Million-Strong Pilgrimages. During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the government's commitment to developing the services provided to pilgrims arriving from inside and outside Iraq. He also highlighted the state apparatus's dedication to supporting the role of the shrines by completing and developing service and urban projects, ensuring the smooth movement of pilgrims and accommodating the growing numbers, which contributes to revitalizing and enhancing the religious tourism sector in the country.
