The President of the Republic, Nizar Amedi, received the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq, Maher Al-Tarawneh, at the Baghdad Palace. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the latest security and economic developments on regional and international
fronts, discussing methods to expand bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Jordan across vital fields to serve the supreme interests of both brotherly nations. The President underscored the importance of establishing security and stability while intensifying coordination and consultation among regional
partners to confront current challenges, noting that regional stability serves as a fundamental pillar for sustainable development. For his part, the Jordanian Ambassador expressed his country's pride in the enduring fraternal relations and Jordan's commitment to enhancing joint coordination for
mutual benefit.
