The National Political Council affirmed today, Monday (May 4, 2026), during its meeting with a delegation from the Coordination Framework, its full readiness to attend the House of Representatives session dedicated to granting confidence to the new government.
A council statement indicated that its leaders received the Coordination Framework delegation, during which emphasis was placed on the importance of expediting government formation and discussing the most prominent political, economic, and security challenges.
The statement added that the meeting reviewed accumulated files and problems, with emphasis on the need to find visions and solutions to be included in the government program and political agreement paper.
The statement continued that the Council's leaders confirmed their full readiness to attend the upcoming parliament session to vote on the ministerial cabinet.
