The MPs demanded transparent and official clarifications regarding the real reasons behind the airport's closure and the restriction of its navigational activities. They emphasized that the issue cannot be treated as a fleeting administrative event due to its strategic, economic,
and service importance to the governorate, as well as its direct impact on visitor traffic and various economic sectors.
