Ministry of Transport Issues Decision to Suspend the Director General of Iraqi Airways and Appoint a Temporary Replacement

The Ministry of Transport has issued a ministerial order to suspend the Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Airways for a period of 60 days. The decision was made in the interest of the workflow and in accordance with the legal provisions of the applicable state and public sector employees' discipline law. The ministerial decree included the assignment of a substitute official to manage the affairs of Iraqi Airways throughout the suspension period, ensuring the uninterrupted flow of administrative and operational tasks within the company.
