The Member of Parliament for Karbala Governorate, Ibtisam Hashim Al-Hilali, announced the approval of the Minister of Electricity, Ali Saadi Wahib, to increase power supply hours and provide 150 transformers, electrical wires, and maintenance materials for the governorate in preparation
for Ashura and the Arbaeen pilgrimage. She added that the approval also included providing the agricultural area in the Ain Al-Tamur district with a mobile and fixed power station to meet farmers' needs. Furthermore, a request was referred to the
relevant committees to allocate funds to the Central Electricity Distribution Company, Karbala branch, to settle outstanding corporate debts amounting to approximately 205 billion dinars, of which 35 billion dinars have already been paid.
