states. Both sides discussed the diplomatic efforts aimed at signing a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran, highlighting its importance in de-escalating tensions and enhancing regional stability. They affirmed that the peoples of the region aspire to
establish the foundations of peace and security and avoid slipping into further military escalation. Regarding regional events, Iraq reiterated its firm stance rejecting the expansion of conflicts or compromising the security and stability of neighboring countries. Baghdad strongly condemned the
attacks on civilian and critical infrastructure, including a nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates. In an initiative to support collective security, Iraqi diplomacy expressed Baghdad's full readiness to cooperate with the Gulf states by forming specialized joint investigative
committees to uncover the circumstances of these attacks and identify the responsible parties, thereby contributing to safeguarding regional stability.
