Iraqi Parliament Completes Reading of Strategic Laws and Issues Decisive Directives Regarding the Dora Incident

In a separate context, the Council issued a series of decisions and directives regarding the Dora area incident and the slums file, directing security agencies to expedite bringing the perpetrators to justice. The Parliament also recommended that the government form a supreme investigative committee to determine the circumstances of the incident and provide it with the results, while tasking the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee with closely monitoring the file to find urgent solutions for slum dwellers.
