Iraq Tightens Security Measures to Protect Embassies and Prevent Exploitation of Its Territory

The Iraqi government has issued strict directives to tighten protection around embassies and diplomatic missions in and around the Green Zone. The Foreign Ministry emphasized that Iraq strongly rejects being dragged into any external conflicts and is working diligently to prevent any factions or armed groups from using Iraqi territory to execute regional agendas.
