The spokesman for Iran's judiciary, Ali Kazemi, announced the issuance of indictments and judicial pursuit orders against 159 US and Israeli officials in connection with their involvement in the assassination of senior military leaders.
Kazemi explained that the Iranian judiciary has included 92 US officials and 67 Israeli officials on the official list of defendants, noting that new investigation files have been opened targeting 97 additional officials over the assassination of 19 military commanders.
The judiciary spokesman added that Iranian courts are currently examining nearly 400 compensation lawsuits, including files related to the assassination of prominent figures, stressing the move to follow up on the implementation of judicial rulings both domestically and internationally.
