as the coastal states. It was noted that future decisions will be discussed through bilateral dialogue based on signed agreements, with the role of other regional parties limited to mediation. Politically, the Iranian Foreign Ministry discussed transit management mechanisms with
its Omani counterpart, agreeing to continue consultations to reach a mutual understanding. In contrast, the US administration has demanded that Tehran issue a public statement guaranteeing that the strait remains open and committing to halt any attacks on commercial vessels,
confirming the continuation of indirect talks aimed at containing the escalation and securing international shipping lanes.
