Germany Proposes Extensive Deal to Purchase American "Tomahawk" Missiles

Press reports revealed that the German government has renewed its efforts to acquire "Tomahawk" missiles and American "Typhon" launch platforms, aiming to strengthen its defensive capabilities amid escalating security challenges in Europe.

The sources indicated that Berlin seeks to convince the current American administration to approve the deal, and that the German Defense Minister is preparing for a potential visit to Washington to present the proposal directly, with readiness to pay additional amounts to ensure the completion of the purchase.

This comes within the context of the previous agreement stipulating the deployment of advanced American weapon systems inside Germany starting from 2026, including "Tomahawk" and "SM-6" missiles, as well as hypersonic weapons.
