Foreign currency exchange rates continued their noticeable decline against the local currency in major markets and stock exchanges, with the US dollar recording a new drop in buying and selling rates compared to previous trading sessions. Financial trading indicators in
the capital, Baghdad, and several major governorates showed a convergence in exchange rates, continuing to register buying rates slightly below selling levels, reflecting a gradual stabilization in parallel markets. In the precious metals sector, local markets witnessed significant stability in
the prices of gold across its various traded carats. This coincided with the stability of ounce prices in global markets, maintaining balanced price levels during recent economic trading without severe fluctuations.
