The Baghdad Operations Command announced the execution of a sudden night campaign that resulted in the closure of several asphalt production factories violating environmental regulations in the northern part of the capital. The Command clarified in an official statement that
these measures are part of the specialized committees' efforts to complete the shutdown of unlicensed factories, aiming to reduce environmental pollution caused by harmful gas emissions and odors. The statement added that security forces, in cooperation with relevant government authorities,
closed the factories operating without proper approvals in the Al-Hamamiyat area.
